The best way to start a habit is to start doing them, instead of searching for how to do it on social media.
It can be a tiny step, for example, if you want to reduce social media addiction start with avoiding using it in the mornings, don't keep your mobile phone near your bed, turning off notifications, using an alarm clock instead of mobile phones...etc
Don't force yourself to do a habit because, it won't help you to develop one, rather gives you stress
Another important thing is the environmental change, sometimes it's the environment around us that makes a habit impossible to do, but we can shape our environment, filling up your fridge with more veggies and fruits instead of junk food, keeping your mobile on the other room while studying these small changes can a make a big difference
Make it an interesting thing, if you want to start reading books, start reading 3-5 pages per day and try to tell the story to your friend so that you will be excited in reading further
Don't be harsh on yourself, appreciate small achievements, watch how your progress is, enjoy the process.....
